Unfortunately, Regulation 16 of the Road Vehicles Lighting Act prohibits the use or display of a blue light except on an Emergency Vehicle. Therefore permission has to be sought from the respective CC's to allow the car to run with Police Livery. Pictures may of course be taken at the venue, but as far as driving with blues and two's blaring, forget it.View the petition, (now closed) at
